SetFSB guide

Dowload setfsb from: http://www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb/
After dl, extract and run (look below)

Then you will see the following window:

When you have opened the program, you need to set your clock generator pll.
In the dir where you have extracted setfsb , there is located a txt file called "setfsb.txt"

In that txt is there a list of overclock generators to use, you can also look at your motherboard.

In this case we use a Asus p5k pre board and we need to use the specified clock generator.

ICS9LPRS918BKL = (ASUS P5K/3 Deluxe)

Choose your clock generator in the drop down menu.

Then click get fsb and it should look like this:

Then we can see our current fsb/memory frequency/pci-e and pci

You can see there is 4 buttons with arrows fronts, they two on the left from the setfsb button is to adjust:
pci-e/pci speed and the two over the [auto] button is to adjust our fsb.

Now your ready to start overclocking.
In this case we booted into windows at 390fsb (e6600 at 266 default)

Raise the fsb with the button over the auto button, in this case where we want to raise our fsb we need to use this button:

after adjusting our fsb to the wanted we click set fsb.
Note: if you want to go over 410fsb you need to mark the ultra square as seen here:

Now you can see the fsb bar with the marker moves back and allow us to adjust our fsb further.

Note: its not recommended to make big jumps in fsb at one time, its better to raise with ex: 10fsb at a time and
when your closing on max, then raise the fsb rate by 2-5.

Here is a example where we have raised our fsb from 410 to 420:

Keep pushing it...
